Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, September 9, 2022, revealed the story of Gabi and Stefan. At first, Gabi accepted Li’s proposal reluctantly. They went to Jake’s memorial service together. Kristen was shocked to know Stefan was not in Chloe’s hotel room and reprimanded Dr. Rolf. Ava was in shock after seeing Stefan. She thought he was Jake from her visions. Johnny consoled her, and they kissed.
Meanwhile, Stefan waited at the DiMera mansion while everyone was at service. Li gave Gabi some space so she could talk to Stefan in private. However, Stefan arrived and shocked Gabi at the crypt.
Gabi Accepts Li’s Proposal
In this Days of Our Lives episode, we saw Gabi react to Li’s marriage proposal. She felt the proposal was out of the blue. However, Li made a heartwarming speech and admitted to being in love with Gabi. She knew no one could take Stefan’s place in her heart but did not want to give up on love. Gabi accepted Li’s proposal and engagement ring. After that, Li wanted to celebrate, but first, they had to attend Jake’s memorial service.
Kristen arrived at Chloe’s room and asked her where “he” was. When she could not find Stefan/Jake, she left for the lab. Kristen blamed Dr. Rolf for not doing his job because Stefan was probably out there looking for Gabi. Brady and Chloe were surprised and thought Kristen had a secret.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Ava Is In Shock, Johnny Consoles Her
Stefan was shocked at Jake’s memorial service when Ava called him Jake. Ava was in despair and left because she thought he was not real. Stefan saw the plaque that said it was Jake’s memorial service. He realized Ava was mistaking him for his twin brother Jake. Ava went to the living room and confessed she had seen Jake again. Johnny consoled her and tried to understand what had happened.
He pretended to believe Jake was alive and suggested Ava could have been drugged. Ava was scared and thought she was losing her mind. EJ behaved insensitively when he learned about Ava’s new vision. Johnny was furious and shouted at EJ for gaslighting Ava.
Furthermore, Johnny helped Ava and told her to stay at the mansion. Ava was grateful for Johnny’s help but did not understand why he was helping her. Johnny insisted he cared for her. They shared a passionate kiss after that.
Stefan Shocks Gabi
Later on, Days of Our Lives recap Gabi and Li arrived and told everyone about their engagement. Anna, Tony, and EJ learned about the engagement. EJ called it a power move, but Li insisted they loved each other deeply. Later, Tony, EJ, Anna, and Li arrived at the crypt for the memorial service.
Gabi stayed behind when everyone left. Li gave her space as he understood she wanted Stefan’s permission before moving on with another man again. Meanwhile, Stefan poured himself a drink at the mansion and waited in the living room. Later, he went to the crypt and shocked Gabi. Would Gabi believe this now? We will have to wait to know.
