Days of Our Lives recap for July 26, 2022, Jake and Ava got happily engaged. They realized they were in love with each other and wanted to make it official. Meanwhile, Sonny was angry at Gabi as he believed Gabi cost him an epic business deal. Turns out that Gabi was not the culprit.
During their interaction, they also learned about Gabi’s new man. In another part of town, Eric tried to convince the gunman to let go of Nicole. He does and leaves the two of them alone. Due to Nicole’s injury, Eric is unable to chase the criminal. The gunman interrupts Ava and Jake’s engagement and demands their diamond ring.
Ava And Jake Get Engaged
In this episode of Days of our Lives, we saw Jake and Ava share a warm realization – they were the ones for each other. They agreed to make it official with an engagement ring as well. However, Ava was not very excited to accept a used ring that belonged to Gwen Rizczech previously.
No one can deny that this ring is extraordinary, worth the ill-feeling that wearing it might bring. Moreover, it’s not like the ring is cursed or anything. The worst thing that could happen is someone could kill Jake after seeing him with the ring in daylight.

Meanwhile, Sonny Kiriakis is angry in this Days of Our Lives episode. He has lost the opportunity of a beneficial business proposal and is sure this is all Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s fault. Sonny decides to go to her and confront her about the same. Well, it turns out that Gabi was not to blame after all. The conversation soon turned to Kristen and Gabi’s new boyfriend.
The Gunman Leaves Eric And Nicole, Jake DIES?
Speaking of Kristen, Brady and Chloe do not appreciate her being their new boss at Basic Black. Kristen is delighted to hear this. Moreover, Kristen expects Chloe to act up, and then she can happily fire her. It is speculated that Kristen might push the issue and accuse Chloe of sexual harassment for giving Brady a cheeky kiss.
Talking about the park robbery, Eric Brady reassured the gunman that he won’t call the cops. All he wants is for the gunman to let go of Nicole Brady. The gunman continued pointing the gun at Nicole and then shoved her onto Eric and started running.
In this process, Nicole hurt her ankle, so Eric had to stay with her and take care of her. He missed the chance to follow the criminal and put him behind bars. This gesture made Nicole very emotional, and she cried in his arms. Eric decided to take her to the hospital and get Rafe to find the gunman.
Meanwhile, the gunman reached Jake and Ava as they were celebrating their engagement. He demanded for the new ring. Ava was okay with giving it away, but Jake stopped Ava and came in front of her.
