Days of Our Lives recap for June 21, 2022, is here with a serious twist of events in the offing. First, we see the preparations for the wedding. Paulina finalizes the caterer and Eric is to officiate the wedding. Meanwhile, Chanel arrives at the DiMera mansion to offer her condolences to the grieving family. Meanwhile, Paulina and Abe get married in a beautiful ceremony. But Lani is having worrisome flashes of TR. Will she be able to hold herself throughout the wedding? Or will she spill the beans about the truth of TR’s death?
Paulina Arrives At The Pub, Eric To officiate Her Wedding
In this episode of Days of our Lives, we see Pauline Price at the pub. She spreads the word about her upcoming Juneteenth wedding. Roman Brady is happy to hear the news and is ready to cater for the evening. Furthermore, Paulina informs Roman and Kate that she does not have an officiant yet. Paulina also admits that she does not want to ask Marlena Evans after all the chaos that had ensued in the previous ceremony.
Suddenly, Eric Brady appears much to Paulina’s delight. He is a priest and would be perfect for the role. Now Eric explains why he was kicked out of the priesthood. However, he is happy to officiate the wedding as he is still licensed to do so.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Chanel Arrives At The DiMera Mansion
Meanwhile, in another part of town at the DiMera mansion, Chanel arrives with sweet gifts to offer her condolences to the DiMera family in this episode of Days of our Lives. They have a brief chat about Abigail’s death. The conversation quickly turns to Paulina’s upcoming marriage.
Of course, Johnny offers to be the videographer for the wedding, what’s more, he won’t charge for it either. Things get awkward because we know Johnny still has feelings for Chanel. He assures her that this had nothing to do with his wish to have her.
In this Juneteenth episode of Days of our Lives, members of the Horton House have a discussion about the history of Juneteenth in America. First, Olivia talks to Julia Williams and Eli Grant about how they have all become a family now. Later they have an interesting conversation about history.
Lani Is Troubled, Theo Seeks Eli’s Help
Meanwhile, at Lani’s flat, she is nervous and doing her best to keep herself together. She gets a horrible vision of a bloody TR on her doorstep, she slams the door in his face. But he seems to be knocking again. So, she tells herself that this is all in her head and warns him to leave her alone. Turns out, it was Theo at the door all this while. Lani is relieved and pulls him into a deep hug.
Lani keeps getting gruesome visions of TR. Theo is worried after hearing about this and decides to have a private conversation with Eli in this episode of Days of our Lives. Eli does not believe this is a big deal and assures him that Lani would be herself sooner than later.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: The Wedding Festivities Begin
Finally, the wedding festivities begin in Days of our Lives. The ceremony is beautiful and the couple seems to be in love. Eli walks with his mother-in-law down the aisle. Paulina thanks her mama and takes her place beside her to-be-husband, Abe. They share beautiful vows and kiss each ot her passionately.
Meanwhile, Lani is still tortured by the visions in her mind. The wedding reception begins right after the ceremony. Of course, the pearl of the season Chanel catches the bouquet of flowers, making both DiMera twins very happy.
Friends and family of the bride and groom give their emotional speeches, and Lani gets a great round of cheer for hers. She sees her dead dad right in the middle of it all and decides that now was just the time for her to confess. Eli and Paulina try to stop her in time but Olivia encourages her to speak. At this moment, Lani confesses that it was she who shot TR and not her mother! The whole room is shocked beyond belief.
