Meanwhile, Kate duly defends Lani for what she did. After the debacle, Nicole wonders if she would have accepted Rafe’s proposal had she known Eric was no longer a priest. In a final push, Eli begs Lani to reconsider her confession.
Days Of Our Lives: Lani Makes A Confession, Julie Intervenes
In the latest episode of Days of our Lives, we saw Lani Price Grant make her confession despite Paulina Price and Eli Grant’s best efforts. In her wedding speech for Paulina and Abe, she unburdened herself and revealed that it was she who shot TR Coates. Paulina had been taking the blame for her all this while.
Julie Williams intervenes just in time. She asks everyone to keep this outburst a secret from the world, even from honest Abe Carver. Wow, it would be a real shocker if everyone does pull this off in the future. But despite everyone’s efforts to quiet her, Lani wants to go to the police station and make her confession.
Eli is not happy with the turn of events but wants to be there for her. Confessions continue in this episode of Days of our Lives. Abe admits that he never believed Paulina’s story. Big Mama Price spoke about how proud she was of her daughter for doing what she did. Soon Kate Roberts comes into the picture. She tells everyone that of course, Lani was not in the right state of mind when she shot TR Coates. We all know Lani’s defense and all are rooting for her.
Nicole Has Doubts
Meanwhile, in another part of town, Nicole Walker wonders if she would have accepted Rafe Hernandez’s hand in marriage had she known that Eric Brady was no longer a priest? We did see Eric arrive at the wedding and officiate Paulina and Abe’s marriage. Will Eric still want a future with his ex-wife? We never know, the couple might get together sooner than later.
Of course, Days of Our Lives hasn’t forgotten about Abigail DiMera’s murder investigation entirely. Everyone in Salem is very much aware of the terrifying fact that the murderer is out on the loose. The wedding and the murder have kept everyone on their toes. The people are also concerned about Chanel Dupree’s wellbeing. Johnny and Allie have begun a battle of their own and no one seems to be winning the cake yet.
Days of Our Lives: Lani Writes Her Confession, Eli Asks Her To Reconsider
Later on, we see Lani write her confession in the investigation room in this episode of Days of Our Lives. Eli is in tears watching her do the act. He does not know how to be apart from her. They share a moment, and Lani tells him to not make things harder for her. He offers to tear the confession apart if she is willing to reconsider her decision for the sake of their kids.
No, Lani has had enough of her past. She will not let anyone lie for her anymore. Of course, she does not want to live apart from her family but she has to do the right thing for Paulina and Abe.
