Looks like when Leo opened Paulina’s safe for his salary advance, that’s when Sloan saw the files in it. She immediately knew that the file were stolen and given to Paulina.
Once she got the file again, she leaked the information in it to the public. So, Leo will feel that it was his mistake that landed Chanel in prison.
