Chad and Stephanie were already struggling with the formers commitment issues on Days of Our Lives. Thus, it came as an even harder blow for the couple when Stephanie’s ex – Everett arrived in Salem. Even though Stephanie showed no romantic interest in him, Chad couldn’t handle his presence. He took to the “DiMera way” of handling his problem. But the latest spoilers reveal that this secret might end up destroying his relationship with Stephanie. Will Everett emerge a winner, as the love birds lose each other? Let’s find out!
Chad Heads Down The Dangerous DiMera Way
Days of Our Lives has done well in establishing the fact that when a DiMera doesn’t get what they want, they either buy it or blackmail to snatch it. Dear ol’ Chad has resorted to both at once to pluck Everett out of his path and Stephanie’s life. Which seems rather desperate for a man who didn’t want to marry her anyway! Jealousy is weird! He spent a mini fortune in buy Gwen’s half of The Spectator, and bent Xander’s arm to get his way.
Although Everett maintain that he has moved on on Days of Our Lives, but Chad is not buying it. He is convinced that Everett wants to steal Stephanie. Until recently, Stephanie was of the opinion that Everett ghosted her. However, he told her that he was in fact going to propose to her, but an unfortunate incident landed him in a coma. That right there, appears to be the ticket that could get him another chance with the lady, if only Chad somehow was cut out of the picture!
Stephanie Breaks up With Chad, Leans on Everett on Days of Our Lives
Well, Everett won’t have to move as much a finger nail to cut Chad out of Stephanie’s life on Days of Our Lives. Chad has sown the seeds for that all by himself. The man has self-sabotaged by forcing Xander to fire Everett from The Spectator. Which might also ultimately push out Steph from her PR gig. Now imagine how she would react when she learns that Chad orchestrated it all!
Actress Abigail Klein told Soaps.com that Stephanie is trying to move on in life on Days of Our Lives. It might appear that she had been moving too fast with Chad. But you have to see where she is coming from. Her life has been very non-linier. She was living a whole independent life in Seattle. Then she moved back to Salem, only to start living with her parents. So it makes sense that she wants to move into the next phase of her life.
And currently, Chad is not able to give her the commitment that she needs on Days of Our Lives. He is still very much hung-up on his deceased wife. So when the truth about how he tried to sabotage Everett comes out, Stephanie will blow up. Because she is already so irked. Moreover, at that point, if Everett offers her more stability, it is extremely likely that Steph would walk away from Chad and reconcile with her ex. But would it really be a good idea?
