Disenchantment Season 2: Trailer and Release Date Is Out

The creators have released the trailer for Disenchantment Season 2, or you can say, part 3. The trailer reveals that the next batch of the upcoming ten episodes will release on Netflix on January 15. As a typical Netflix series, all ten episodes of the series will be out at the same time. This will allow the fans to binge-watch the entire season. The trailer sees Princess Bean as she goes back to Steamland. This is something that was introduced in the ninth episode of the second season- “The Electric Princess.” There she will meet a new character. Watch the trailer here-

Who will come in?

The upcoming season three will see the whole main cast returning. This includes Abbi Jacobson as Bean, Eric Andre as Luci, Nat Faxon as Elfo, and John DiMaggio as King Zoe. Accompanying them will Maurice LaMarche as Odval, Billy West as Sorcerio, and Tress MacNeille as Arch Druidess. A new character will be joining the cast. British comic actor Richard Ayoade will give this character his voice. His character wants Steamland and Dreamland to become a team.

Disenchantment Season 3: What Would Happen?

The second season of Disenchantment left all the viewers with a big cliffhanger. The second season ended with Bean being accused of witchcraft and trying to kill her father- King Zog. Along with her half-brother Prince Derek, she had installed a throne as a puppet. Then a secret society called the seekers organized a kangaroo court. This saw Bean, Elfo, and Luci getting discredited publicly and then getting a sentence to be burned at stake. The three of them resigned themselves to death. The ground below them gave away, and the trio fell into an underground cave surrounded by mole men. These creatures made way to reveal Bean’s mom- Queen Dagmar, who, in the end, sarcastically says that she hasn’t gotten a hug.

This cliffhanger ending leaves the second season of Disenchantment in a similar place as the first season. However, not everything is the same. Now, Bean is quite aware of her mothers’ true nature and isn’t alone. The trailer that released recently sees Bean stepping up her princess game. She becomes concerned about her now unstable father, King Zog, and the future of who would lead the Dreamland deepens. The official Netflix synopsis for the upcoming season is something like this-
“The excitement builds in Disenchantment Part 3 as Bean continues to grow into her power and own her destiny. As the fearless friends venture out to discover new worlds, they might just find there really is no place like home.”
