Doctor Who Season 13 feels like it’s still way off, but the current Doctor Who Jodie Whittaker has been spotted filming in Liverpool. Well, it’s a good sign that filming hasn’t been affected much by the global pandemic, since many Hollywood series had put on hold due to the recent outbreak. Doctor Who is a sci-fi series that is centered on a rogue time traveler. Jodie is the current owner of the TARDIS, the most recent incarnation of the Doctor. She begins her journey as the time traveler to defeat the old and new foes. As soon as it aired, the series became the most popular show amongst television superheroes.

Doctor Who Season 13: When Filming Will Begin?

While we were waiting to hear when Doctor Who Season 13 will return to the set. And the news came off back in November that Doctor Who begins its filming for season 13. Soon, the BBC announced that the upcoming season would be shorter than usual due to the global pandemic. Currently, the filming for season 13 is still underway, and deeming the time required to finish filming; we can expect it would wrap up until summer.

Jodie Spotted Filming In Liverpool

Recently Jodie was spotted wearing her coat and firmly helding a hot water bottle close to her chest, as she let out a pretty laugh with the new cast John Bishop. Soon she waves a smile while entering the TARDIS. But, in the next shot, we saw her in an oversized waterproof jacket with a face mask as she uses breather in-between takes. Meanwhile, in January, Jodie saw laughing off the chilling cold as she shot some scenes in the downpour.

Doctor Who Season 13: Who Will Be In The Cast?

The 2020 Christmas special spilled up Doctor’s (Jodie Whittaker) traveling family. As we saw Tosin Cole and Bradley Walsh, both at the end of the episode left the TARDIS for good. Now, The Doctor is left alone with Yasmin “Yaz” Khan (Mandip Gill). But a new cast member will enter in The Doctor’s time-traveling journey. The stand-up comedian John Bishop will join the team as Dan. He will be the newest member of the TARDIS.

Who Will Replace Jodie?

As per the reports, Jodie might quit Doctor Who after season 13, just after three years of her entrance. Yet, the BBC didn’t say anything about Jodie’s future on the show. But as soon as the news broke, fans began wondering who could replace Jodie to become the next incarnation of Doctor Who. Well, many believed I May Destroy You star Michaela Coel could replace Jodie. But recently, the rumors surfaced that Noel Clarke might take over Jodie’s role.

Noel took to Twitter and said that he heard that he’s the second favorite Doctor who might replace her. But, it’s a pretty bet to say “if Jodie leaves” the show. He also mocked that he doesn’t want to put his money in the bet. But, it’s uncertain whether Noel will continue as the Doctor.
