Jinger Duggar is all set to release her new book, People Pleaser: Breaking Free from the Burden of Imaginary Expectations. The Duggar News star wanted to write a book that was “more relatable,” so it will contain several personal stories and her insights as she navigated her “people-pleasing” habits.
While admitting she was “such a people pleaser” Jinger revealed being consumed with what people around her thought about her. All of it also began to affect her relationships and she had slso started rejecting some bonds while worrying what they would think of her. Vulnerably, Jinger confessed that she developed people-pleasing tendencies as a teenager.
Jinger fessed up to feeling that she was “too fat” even when she wasn’t and resorting to eating less. She did so as she feared her friends would be skinnier than her and wouldn’t want to stay friends with her. So, her thought pattern began with her struggle with an eating disorder, and the people-pleasing just continued.
