He was using it to stay in contact with his wife, Anna Duggar. Owing to this, he had his prison sentence extended by a few months. That’s because the officials from FCI Seagoville decided to ban recreational time for the inmates. For the unversed, it’s a scheduled period during which inmates are allowed to engage in physical activity, sports, or other leisure activities, often outside their cells, to promote well-being and reduce misconduct.
It happened after the prison decided to punish everyone for contraband possession. They used to get time to go outside and get involved in playing sports or musical instruments twice a day, i.e., during early morning or late afternoon. It turns out that Josh Duggar’s dorm decided to hold a hunger strike after the band. They have vowed not to eat anything until they give them their rec time back.
It’s not confirmed if Josh Duggar is also a part of this hunger strike. Well, viewers have spotted the star walking in the outdoor area outside of the prison.
