Duggar News followers learned that Anna Duggar played a massive role in Josh Duggar’s filing. Apparently, the latter sent and received drafts of his motion with her. Josh used to write everything by hand or type it on a typewriter. He then sent it all to Anna via email.

Josh’s wife then went through everything and used to put all the physical copies on the computer by typing them in. Anna then sent all the paperwork to her husband, and all Josh had to do was sign them up. Even after their collective effort, Josh wasn’t able to file his appeal during the given time. As per the records, his deadline was June 24, 2025. But he was almost a month late as he filed it on July 29, 2025.

Duggar News: Josh Duggar Files A New Appeal!

Duggar News followers recently learned about Josh Duggar’s new appeal. Well, this time, he is not really aiming to overturn his conviction. As per the source, Josh is now making an appeal regarding his previously issued order. Apparently, a federal judge in Arkansas didn’t allow Josh’s case to proceed. He stated that Josh didn’t appeal within the given time.

On June 15, Josh’s attorney, Beau B. Brindley, appealed the order that was filed on June 1. As per the federal court records, the prosecution straight away challenged Josh. The prosecution argued that Josh didn’t even file his appeal within the time given by the law. Judge Timothy Brooks took into account all the instances when Josh failed to file his appeal.

Judge Timothy Brooks noted, “The Court can grant Mr. Duggar one coincidence. Perhaps even two or three odd happenstances.” He further wrote that Josh was trying to convince the court with something that was “akin to a magic bullet theory.” He added, “Collectively, this chain of events—where Murphy’s law was lurking at every turn—is simply not credible.”

As per the current scenario, Josh is simply struggling to present his case in the court. He has appealed for it all over again.
