Duggar News Alert! Josh Duggar is now up with a new appeal. But things have changed a bit now. Apparently, the disgraced celeb is not really aiming to overturn his conviction. Josh is now making an appeal regarding his previously issued order. As per the sources, a federal judge in Arkansas didn’t allow Josh’s case to proceed.
The noted judge stated that Josh didn’t appeal within the given time. Moreover, the prosecution argued that Josh didn’t even file his appeal within the time given by the law. This is when Judge Timothy Brooks took into account all the instances when Josh failed to file his appeal. Hence, now Josh is simply struggling to present his case in court.
Duggar News followers recently learned about Josh Duggar’s current location. Apparently, when he was finally convicted in 2021 for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material, he was sent to FCI Seagoville, Texas. But now he has been transferred to FTC Oklahoma City. This came after Josh stayed at FMC Fort Worth in Texas for a while.

Josh’s lawyer, Beau Brindley, finally decided to address the way his client was being transferred every now and then. He claimed that all of these transfers were basically “punitive.” He explained how the trouble began after Josh accused staff at FCI Seagoville of improperly opening confidential legal mail. Josh then raised this issue during a court hearing as well.
Beau alleged that as soon as Josh brought up this matter in court, prison officials informed him that he would be transferred out of Seagoville. But that’s not all. Apparently, Beau also claims prison staff erased Josh’s approved contact list. This was preventing him from communicating with family members and other people.
As per the current scenario, Josh is in the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City. TMZ revealed that this is a temporary facility used to process inmates before they’re assigned to a permanent prison. That clearly means another transfer is likely on the horizon. Josh and his legal team don’t know where he would end up, and they believe that the timing of everything couldn’t be a coincidence. What do you think? Do let us know in the comments section.
