Joseph told Anna that he was able to stay “encouraged” even during such adverse situations. Even during a call with Kendra, he revealed that the place was really small and wasn’t able to sleep well. Joseph noted that he had been in the cell for about 23 hours and had focused on reading the Bible.

News recently revealed that the authorities told them the real reason behind this decision. As per the source, it was basically for Joseph’s “own safety.” Apparently, he had a “social status,” and there was a lot of “media presence” around the case.

An officer further wrote in the incident report for March 19 that he was placing Joseph Duggar in “Administrative segregation in HC-4.” The noted officer further revealed that it was for “7 days” and that the decision was taken solely for his own “safety.” Apparently, Joseph lived in solitary confinement until his March 27 extradition to Florida. The incident of alleged molestation took place in Florida, so he had to be taken to Florida.

After all this, Joseph was in custody in Florida until he paid a $600,000 bond. He finally got bail, and Jim Bob Duggar brought him back to Arkansas. He is currently in Arkansas, but will have to return for his hearing in the last week of April. The celeb even requested the court for a fair trial as he had a celebrity status, and even Josh Duggar was his own flesh and blood.

The court further ordered that Joseph Duggar be subject to some restrictions, even while out on bail.
