The storylines and plot twists on EastEnders really heated up this summer on BBC One. Now, even as we head towards the cooler months, the soap is showing no sign of simmering down! Cindy Comes To Walford, Alfie Moon Faces New Struggle
EastEnders took fans by storm when they revealed that Anna and Gina’s missing mom, Rose Knight, is actually Cindy Beale. Cindy was previously married to Ian Beale and lived a bumpy and controversial life in Walford. However, while she was in prison, news surfaced that she had died during childbirth. Ever since then, she had been presumed dead on the BBC One soap. While in reality, she was living away in France under the identity of Rose Knight. In an even more explosive twist, the soap recently showed her living in France with her former husband, Ian Beale.
However, the circumstances of their reunion have not yet been disclosed. So that is one thrilling backstory to watch out for in the Autumn of 2023 on EastEnders. Apart from rocking the Beale family, Cindy’s return will also send shockwaves through the Knight family. After all, Anna will have to face the reality of who her mother really is. Meanwhile, Gina has already made it clear that she is not interested in looking for her mother. And, of course, there is that little wedding coming up between “Rose’s” husband George and Elaine Peacock! So that, again, is a twist to watch out for.

EastEnders Autumn Preview: Lily and Ricky Welcome Their Baby, Sam Mitchel Returns
We know that Lily is quite far in her pregnancy on EastEnders. So, this Autumn, she and Ricky will finally welcome their baby into the world. Previously, there families have been constantly bickering over the fact that their teens are having a baby, and how difficult it is all going to be. However, in the recent past they have all made some major progress and have tried to step up as much as possible to support their children. Meanwhile, Lily and Ricky too, have shown immense commitment towards trying to be good parents to their baby, despite their age and circumstances.
Earlier in 2023, Sam Mitchell had left Walford in her rearview mirror on EastEnders. She had taken up a job opportunity in Spain. However, at the time of her exit, the spoilers had revealed that her exit will only be temporary. Now, the Autumn preview hints that once Lily gives birth to her baby, Sam Mitchell might return to Walford. But only time will tell if this return will be permanent or just as temporary as her exit earlier. Although, if she chooses to stay back, it may come as a huge relief for Lily and Ricky, as they struggle with new parenthood.
Eve Faces Her Past, Stacey Faces Her Stalker
The latest EastEnders spoilers tease that Caroline is not just a random visitor. She came looking for Eve Unwin for a reason. Her arrival has already created some unrest for Suki, as she mistook Caroline to be Eve’s new girlfriend. However, that is not the case. In fact, the truth runs much deeper.
