The young and talented, Bobby Braizer, debuted on BBC One’s EastEnders as Freddie Slater in 2022. Although Freddie wasn’t a new character, he was reintroduced on the long-running soap as the last time we saw Little Mo’s son was when he was still a child. A grown up Freddie returned to Walford about a year and held back hoping to get to know his father. Unfortunately, he ended up getting his heart broken. In a recent storyline, Freddie came face-to-face with the startling fact that his father, Graham, actually raped his mother back in the day.
Currently, Bobby’s Freddie is in the middle of a very heated storyline on EastEnders. His best friend, Bobby Beale has recently started dating Anna Knight. However, after the shock of coming face-to-face with her mother Cindy/Rose, a shaken Anna ended up getting intimate with Freddie. Now, Freddie is shouldering major guilt over betraying his best friend. In the middle of this thrilling narrative, the news of Bobby (Freddie)’s exit comes as a huge shock!
Is This The End For Freddie On EastEnders?
The EastEnders star has confirmed to the media that he has already filmed his exit scenes for the BBC One soap. Moreover, he has also confirmed that he has taken a break from the soap in order to accommodate a new show! According to latest reports, Bobby Braizer will soon appear on the latest season of Strictly Come Dancing. “I’m taking a break. I’ve filmed it all, and I’m not telling you. I’ll be back.” Bobby told the media in a recent interview.
Speaking about his upcoming stint on the dance show, the Eastenders star shared that he intends on dedicating a dance performance to his mother. Bobby lost his mother to cervical cancer in 2009. He is hoping to make people cry with his performance on Maxwell’s This Woman’s Worth. Perhaps that will be the one he dedicates to his mother. Well, we wish him all the best for his upcoming show.
