EastEnders star Clair Norris (Bernie Taylor) is celebrating a big relationship milestone. The actress announced that she and her partner, Lewis Wood, have bought their first-ever home together. She broke the exciting news on her Instagram, posting a snapshot of their hands holding the keys to their new place. That’s not all! The EastEnders star couldn’t contain her joy and penned, “And we’re in!!! Time to make this house a home.” Clair shared another snap, showcasing the thoughtful ‘new home’ cards they’ve received, alongside a balloon and a treat hamper. Soon, EastEnders fans opened the floodgate with their wishes.
Moreover, Norris’s onscreen mum, Lorraine Stanely, joined in the mix. She wrote, “Congratulations, that’s amazing!!! I’m so happy for you both. Can’t wait to come over for a cuppa.” Additionally, other EastEnders buddies arrived in the comment section to shower love. Navin Chowdhry posted an emoji of a champagne bottle, while James Bye wrote, “Congratulations,” alongside a pair of champagne glasses.
Clair and Lewis have been together since 2019 with Clair mentioning their plans to move in together back in 2021. Back on EastEnders, Norris’ Bernie remains the last member in the Square after Keanu bit the dust on Christmas Eve. However, her character still remains in the dark about her brother’s death.
In addition, Taylor’s mum Karen also bid farewell to Walford as she fled for Spain with partner Mitch Baker. She did return earlier this year for a brief period but had to leave. And guess what? It’s been challenging for Bernie to cruise solo. The EastEnders star paid tribute to the actors playing Karen and Mitch.
