TV Seasons & Spoilers had recently reported a sudden and sad upheaval in EastEnders star, Patsy Kensit’s life. The actress and her long time beau had called off their relationship. However, this time around, we have a rather exciting update to report! The latest spoilers for the BBC One soap reveal that the actress is re[rising her role of the much hated Emma Harding for another stint. The last time we saw her on the show was when she abandoned her dying daughter.
Well, that alone is grounds to despise the character on EastEnders. However, Emma has a long history of pulling off the vanishing act on the soap. But when she finally did return to reconnect with her terminally ill daughter, Lola, it seemed like she would stick around this time. In one of the episodes, she explained to her daughter why she had abandoned her earlier. In a twist that viewers weren’t expecting, Emma revealed that she was a victim of domestic abuse. And back in the day, she saw no other escape for it than running away.
The scene turned out to be a rather heartwarming watch, and the mother and daughter reconciled on EastEnders. However, as Lola’s illness progressed, Emma couldn’t handle the difficult circumstances and once again turned hot on her heels and left. Thus, breaking her daughter’s heart all over again. Moreover, missing the chance to say a final goodbye to Lola. But now, according to the spoilers on EastEnders official website, Emma is slated to walk back into Walford in the September 11, 2023, episode.
The teaser states that “Emma makes an unwelcome return.” The details about her return story line are being kept under wraps currently. However, there is a possibility that she may clash with Ben upon her return. Because some spoilers hint that Ben will be “laying the rules” with someone. We also wonder if her storyline will include some remorse towards abandoning Lola. Or perhaps she would wat to make amends in some way? As of now, it is anybody’s guess.
