All hell broke loose on Denise Fox in the latest episode of EastEnders. Soap enthusiasts are well aware that you can’t count on anyone implicated in the same crime as yours. That person is also in the same boat as you and can sell you down the river if it comes to that.
The Six have been struggling to fight away their hysteria following the murder of Keanu Taylor on Christmas. On top of this, Denise made a huge blunder, putting the rest of them in grave danger. Denise Blames Stacey, Kathy Intervenes
The Six thought they had averted the crisis when they dug Keanu’s grave and sealed it for good on EastEnders. However, we know that Denise put everyone at risk! She dug her own grave when she accidently dropped her necklace there. The iconic ‘D’ necklace that she always wore around her neck.
Unfortunately, the realisation came much later to Denise when the concrete had already set. In no time, Denise summoned everyone, minus Sharon, to the Barrel store of the Vic. Sharon has already been on the run. Denise’s idea of digging up Keanu’s body to retrieve the necklace fell on deaf ears. Fuming, she swore to do the deed herself if nobody else complied.
In addition, Denise started pointing fingers at Stacey Slater. Had she not pushed Denise into Keanu’s grave, none of it would have happened. She also manipulated Stacey for support, saying that she kept silent about what Stacey had done to her before Christmas. Of course, Stacey didn’t see it coming. She had to face the music with the ladies following an awkward conversation. Stacey finally revealed that she had slept with Jack Branning!
As the showdown between Denise and Stacey was climaxing, Kathy Beale lost it. She put a stop to Denise’s threats. Beale said she won’t go behind bars because “Jack Branning can’t keep it in his pants.” And that the rest of the ladies should stick together.
EastEnders: Denise Revisits the Café
Kathy headed out looking for Denise, who had already set the wheel in motion on EastEnders. There, Kathy dressed Jack down with her cutting words, which he obviously had due. Then she rallied the troops and marched to the café where they found Denise trying to break through the concrete. Denise thought the ladies had come to help her, but much to her delusion, they refused.
Denise began to break down, saying none of this was her fault. She was on a guilt trip and felt terrible about her husband and kids. In a comeback, Kathy emphasized that she sent her husband, Rocky, to the prison to preserve their skins. Suki Panesar and Linda Carter chimed in, much to Denise’s disgust. Moreover, Denise called out Linda for her actions that night. Retaliating quickly, Linda pointed out that they had signed up for a treaty and would stick with it. Denise was still not ready to yield.
Giving Denise a heads-up, Kathy clarified that Fox was the only one with evidence on the body. And that if Denise didn’t stick with the plan, Kathy would dig the body up herself. She would make sure that Denise would be framed. As everyone exited the café, the stark warning left Denise at a crossroads.
