Jack Branning really did level up to support Stacey Slater when it really mattered on EastEnders. As we already know, she has been going through a difficult time due to stalker Theo. After he attempted to rape her, and Freddie bashed him up to save Stacey, things spiraled out of hand. But she was able to face him in court, thanks to unwavering support from Martin and Jack. The latter came especially close to her through the process.
So much so, that in a weak moment, Stacey ended up confiding in him that she placed the wrench near Theo to make it look like he attacked her on EastEnders. Upon finding out, Jack insisted that he needs to alert the authorities about it. Owing to his police department status. However, Stacey managed to convince him to keep her secret. Eventually, he agreed. The two continued to come closer, when Denise returned and he had another clash with his girlfriend.
But now, the latest spoilers reveal that their growing connection could come to an untimely end on EastEnders. The two have been spending a lot of time together and go Christmas shopping together in the upcoming episodes. Where Jack buys presents for her kinds. Later, Stacey receives a Christmas car from Theo. This pushes her to worry if her stalker has something to do with Eve’s disappearance. She decides to go to the police over it. However, they tell her that they can’t do anything about it.
Overwhelmed by fear and anger, she leaves a threatening message for Theo over the phone on EastEnders. Later, when she returns home, she fears that Theo could be hiding in her house, Jack tries to comfort her that Theo is in Scotland and cannot bother her anymore. She tells Jack about her threat call to Theo, he becomes upset and lashes out. This infuriates Stacey ever further and she retaliates by showing him his place and storms off. Later after a conversation with Kat and a few drinks, she decided to apologize to Jack.
But will Jack accept her apology? Especially since she really mistreated him after everything that he did for her. Including keeping a massive secret with legal consequences!
