EastEnders viewers got hit with a blast from the past as Johnny Carter made his shocking return this week. He’s back to support his traumatised mum, Linda, who is lost in a haze of alcohol. And let us tell you that the EastEnders community is alive and kicking on Reddit! Moreover, excitement fused around a single post. Everyone chatted up a storm about what happened next and Johnny’s future on the soap. Read on!
One user was hopeful, “Why does the first pic look like he’s about to pull the life support for Linda.” Another explained that Carter looked grown up, and they loved seeing him wear a waistcoat in Mick’s memory. “ I’m hoping we get some heartfelt scenes talking about what’s happened since he left in 2018.” Additionally, they hoped Johnny would stick around for a long time on EastEnders.
Furthermore, the third agreed, “I like that they’ve gone for a more mature vibe.
