We have known for a while that actress Lorraine Stanley is all set to bow out from EastEnders as Karen Taylor. However, there have been many speculations as to what her exit storyline would be. But no confirmation ever came from the actress or the production over what would send Karen packing. Ever since she got unwittingly involved in Keanu’s reckless plan of faking Albie’s kidnapping, we had an inkling that this would be it.
When time comes, Karen would take the fall for her son on EastEnders, and perhaps take a lengthy trip to the prison on kidnapping charges. Now, the latest spoilers reveal that Karen indeed will bow out disgraced after her involvement in Albie’s kidnapping surfaces. Sharon truly lived her worst nightmare through the days that Albie was missing. She broke down multiple times fearing the worst. Although, unknown to her, Albie was absolutely safe in Malcolm’s care.
Keanu then cashed in 50k in ransom for Albie’s safe return on EastEnders. Karen is currently hiding the money in her home. However, the latest spoilers reveal that money is discovered soon enough. As it turns out, Mitch Baker has grown suspicious of Karen and Keanu’s behaviour. He confronts her and she eventually confesses to having staged Albie’s kidnapping. Later, a disturbed Mitch accidentally crashes his van in Harvey Monroe’s taxi.
The Beginning Of Karen’s End On EastEnders
Kat Slater insists that Mitch pay for the damage on EastEnders. The spoilers spill that Karen goes behind Mitch’s back and pays Kat from the ransom money. Perhaps her biggest mistake in the whole fiasco! Because as soon as Phil sees the money, he recognizes the marked notes as the one he used to pay the ransom. He and Kat then enlist Tommy Moon’s help in searching Karen’s house. The young lad find the money hidden under Karen’s bed.
Meanwhile, Sharon excitedly announces that she and Keanu are tying the knot on Christmas Day on EastEnders. Phil bursts in and upturns the moment by revealing that Karen and Keanu staged Albie’s kidnapping. Sharon is stunned at the revelation. What will she do next? Moreover, what will Karen and Keanu do?
