A BTS leak from EastEnders has leaked a shocking return to the BBC One soap. The latest joinee of the soap, Aaliyah James (Avani), posted some digital content on her Tik Tok. While the foreground of the frame had a picture of Lola in focus. The background revealed an unexpected return. A hazy siloutte of a man can be seen sitting in the background. And ardent viewers of the soap believe that the man in question is none other than Matt Di Angelo. The actor was known to play baddie Dean on the soap.
For the unversed, Dean is Shirley Carter’s son on EastEnders. Even since his 2006 arrival in Walford he has been a troublemaker and pot stirrer. However, post 2014, he transformed into a full blown dark and evil character. One of his most major storyline and also pethaps one of the soap’s darkest story was when he raped Linda. Furthermore, he went on to try and murder his mother Shirley, after he learnt that Mick Carter was his brother. However, he was later chased out of Walford after he managed secure a not-guilty verdict for some of his rather gross crimes.
EastEnders Hints Dean Wick’s Return
Interestingly, some time ago on EastEnders, Linda was horrified to learn that Shirley has managed to locate Dean, and is living with him. We wonder if that name-dropping was a hint at what’s to come. Recently, some spoilers for the BBC One soap teased that Linda will get a horrific shock this Halloween. Could the earlier hint be connected to this spoiler? We have a strong feeling that could be the case! Especially now with the leaked BTS footage.
Moreover, Dean’s return could also tie in with another festive story! The much hyped Christmas murder! Linda is very much the part of “The Six”. Thus, if rapist Dean returns to Walford, he would rather quickly climb the ladders to reach the top spot as a viable murder victim! Another scene that hints at Dean’s return is when Linda mentions him to Kathy. She tells her that she saw him in Shitley’s photos and feels disturbed.
Kathy then went on to assure her that if he ever returned, Linda will have a wall of friends protecting her.
