EastEnders: Natalie Shares Her Ongoing Grief!
The EastEnders star expressed that she was still mourning June’s loss, who had such an impact on her life. She praised the legend, “She taught me a lot, and we had a lot of laughs over the years.” Cassidy revealed that old age had nothing on June as she used to party in a nightclub at 82, calling her “amazing.”
Moreover, many old faces popped back into Walford in Dot Branning’s special episode that aired in December 2022. These include Mary the Punk and Lofty, along with Colin and Barry, a groundbreaking couple. Additionally, Natalie recounted the special moment when her character, Sonia, led the memorial.
The EastEnders actress recalled: “There was a lot resting on my shoulders. I think I made her proud.” That memorial week was also memorable for two surprise appearances. Remember Keanu Taylor stirring up Christmas Day suspense and Ian Beale teasing his eventual full-time comeback alongside Cindy.
