Brace yourself for some really intense drama as Whitney Dean is about to face grave danger on EastEnders. A speeding car will smack her down in some nail-biting upcoming scenes. Whitney meets a girl named Britney at Bianca’s, and her poor living situation prompts Dean to step up. The duo instantly connects as Whitney’s heart goes out to her. However, this new guardian role has its own drawbacks. Let’s hear it in Shona McGarty’s own words!
EastEnders: Shona is All About Action and Adrenaline!
Shona (Whitney Dean) revealed, “Keeley hasn’t been looking after her (daughter) at all, and Whitney feels incredibly sorry for her.” Moreover, the EastEnders legend revealed that Britney reminded Whitney of herself at that age. Her character wants to take the girl “under her wing.” However, things go south when Whitney squares off with Keeley, and Britney runs off with Dean chasing after her.
And guess what? The young girl dashes into traffic, but Whitney shoves her out and takes the HIT herself. As scary as it sounds, EastEnders star McGarty had a blast shooting these intense scenes. She expressed, “It’s my favourite thing to do. I just absolutely love doing stunts.” Shona is always like, “Can’t I just do that?” but the stunt guys always pull her back.
Additionally, The Dean actress confessed to being always desperate to perform safe and fun stunts. Back to the fatal accident, Dean makes it out alive along with her unborn baby. But her relationship with Zack hits a roadblock when Dean offers to forester Britney against his wishes. Zack feels frustrated and left out on EastEnders. Shona touched on the scene, “Zack is so annoyed with Whitney.”
In addition, McGarty continued, “He’s just so concerned about this baby that he goes back to the Square without Whitney.” Also, Whitney making Britney her main priority instead of Zack really pissed him off.
