Life of Walford residents is forever going through some dramatic change or the other on EastEnders. Recently, Sonia Fuller started to anticipate that she might be pregnant, after she realised that her period was late. The father of the baby would be, Reiss. Sonia met him some time ago at Dott’s funeral. The two had formed an instant connection with each other. Everything was going smoothly for them until Sonia found out a shattering secret that Reiss had been keeping from her.
Sonia recently learned that her lover was still very much married to his first wife, Debbie on EastEnders. Debbie had suffered a stroke back in the day that left her incompetent. Thus, she is now receiving the care she needs at a hospice center. Initially, this news was a deal breaker for Sonia, and she wanted to end her relationship with Reiss. However, he managed to convince her of his love and Sonia eventually relented. Unfortunately, the two are about to face another big hurdle in their relationship. But will they be able to find a way around it this time?
Sonia Is HeartBroken After Knowing Reiss’s Stance On EastEnders
Sonia has found herself in a really testing situation on EastEnders. She is swarmed with the thoughts of her pregnancy, while she can’t make sense of Reiss’ odd behaviour. In a chat with the media, actress Natalie Cassidy said that Reiss was a ‘shining beacon of light’ in Sonia’s life. However, now he is being very off with her, and it is making her very restless. Especially since she has thoughts of starting a family with him flying in her mind.
Later, Whitney encourages Sonia to take a pregnancy test and then talk to Reiss about it clearly on EastEnders. However, in the upcoming episodes Whitney will catch Reiss trying to break into his girlfriends phone. Apparently, Reiss is functioning under the belief that Sonia has cheated on him. Eventually Sonia and Reiss will have a heated confrontation and their conversation will lead Sonia to believe that Reiss has no problem with becoming a dad. He just doesn’t want to father a child with her.
This realisation will devastate Sonia on EastEnders. Ultimately she will start to wonder what the fate of their relationship will be. Meanwhile, Reiss will have a moment of realisation and he will want to make amends. But in order to save their relationship, Sonia and Reiss will have to be completely honest with each other.
