Bianca’s Return is Sealed On EastEnders!
In the past few years, EastEnders has seen the return of notable cast members. One fresh example is Lauren Branning, who returned to the town this New Year. Now, It’s happening again. This time, it is Bianca Jackson, who last appeared in the soap in 2019. Patsy is back filming as Bianca already, and the episodes featuring her will be broadcast this spring. Her return will premiere in a special episode revolving around Whitney and her turmoil when she and her partner, Zack Hudson, visit Milton Keynes. How will she fit into the current storyline?
The details of Bianca’s plotline are yet to be uncovered, but the reports have confirmed that her return will “ensue chaos.” We know damn well that Whitney has been caught in the crossfire with Ashton leaving and the shocking pregnancy news. Before this, she also endured the ordeal of losing her baby Peach. On top of this, Zack hasn’t been that supportive, either. As if this wasn’t enough, the prediction of mayhem unfolding upon Bianca’s arrival is worrisome. Will Bianca open a can of worms for Whitney upon returning?
Talking about her return, Patsy said, “I’m so excited to be reprising the role of Bianca.” She continued that EastEnders holds such a special place in her heart, so it’s always a pleasure for her to be back. Moreover, showrunner Chris Clenshaw also spoke up about her return. He said, “I’m thrilled to welcome the fabulous Patsy back to the iconic role of Bianca Jackson.” And that even after appearing last in 2019, Bianca remains a “fan favourite.” The producer also believes that the audience will be thrilled at her return. Clenshaw praised the character, saying, “She is thrust into the heart of the drama alongside step-daughter Whitney.”
Introduction To Walford: 1993 Debut
Bianca was introduced in Walford in 1993 as the spirited, sharp-tongued daughter of Carol Jackson. She maintains strong ties to Walford through her relationships with the Branning family. Additionally, she shares close relations with the two cherished characters on the show – her stepdaughter Whitney and sister Sonia Fowler.
Throughout her 13 years in Albert Square, Bianca always found herself at the heart of gripping storylines. She played pivotal roles in some of the soap’s most prominent and memorable storylines. These include the revelation that David Wicks was her dad and her troublesome relationship with Ricky Butcher. Also, her involvement in the family plotline, which addressed Whitney’s abuse, transpired in 2008.
Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean) is all set to leave the soap after 15 long years to pursue other favourite things. While we wish the actress well for her upcoming ventures, we can’t wait to see how Bianca’s return will play out in Whitney’s exit storyline.
