However, Stacey and everyone else is trying to be their supportive best towards the new mum on EastEnders. Lily’s mother tried to encourage her to shoulder the responsibility and even tried to guide her through it. Unfortunately, Lily just broke down into tears and wondered if she was an awful mother to her baby. The teen mom was scared that she would somehow end up her little baby, when Stacey tried to tell her that the baby needs her mom and not nan.

Whitney Rises As Lily’s Support On EastEnders

Upon seeing Lily’s exasperation, Whitney decided to step in and help the young mother on EastEnders. However, when Whitney picked up little Charli, Stacey feared that it would bring back painful memories for Whitney. Regular viewers will remember that she and Zack had to heart-wrenchingly terminate their pregnancy when their baby Peach was diagnosed with Edward’s Syndrome. Whitney has had a hard time coming to terms with the ache of losing her baby.

However, she assured Stacey that she would be fine around Charli on EastEnders. She then proceeded to pick the baby in her arms and instantly calmed down the crying baby. Then Whitney handed the baby back to Lily and advised her to hold Charli close to her so as to keep her cozy and comfy. Whitney’s support went a long way with Lily and she breathed a sigh of relief. We wonder if there is a bigger storyline waiting to happen here between Whitney-Lily and Charli. So stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more EastEnders updates on it!
