With Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) getting ready to welcome her child, Emmerdale viewers felt that things were finally getting better for her. But her past does not appear to be letting her go so easily. Dawn has had a long battle with drug addiction. After meeting Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), everything ultimately fell into place in her tangled life.
Pregnancy is always a tough journey for any woman. But past drug addicts have it particularly difficult. Hence, in a discussion about pain relief drugs, Dawn is terrified about her addiction returning. How will she manage it? Will Billy help her get through this? Or he has his own things to deal with?
Emmerdale: Dawn Receives A Warning On Her Drug Use
Dawn Taylor lived many years of her life as a prostitute and a drug addict. She fought a hard battle against both. But after finding love, everything clicked into its place. She got her son’s custody back and even welcomed back his half-sister Clemmie into her family. In the last episode of Emmerdale, Dawn found out about her pregnancy. In the next week’s episodes, Dawn attends an ante-natal class. However, the discussion of pain reliever drugs makes her worried as she fears her addiction might relapse.
Meanwhile, Billy gets into a fight with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). When Billy and the other kids fight about a playground accident, Aaron makes fun of Billy. Dawn gets to know about it through Paddy Kirk’s (Dominic Brunt). While thinking about the baby shower that her friend Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is planning for her, Dawn wants to know all about the fight once she gets home.
By the end of the last episode of Emmerdale, Aaron gets angry and bothers Billy again in the shop. This leads to a huge fight. Ultimately, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) has to separate them. Dawn is not pleased at all when a badly hurt Billy comes home, mad that he let Aaron start a fight. Now the question is, Will the stress of the fight make Dawn and Billy’s marriage worse?
