Emmerdale has taken a boiling turn as Chloe has discovered that her father has held Mack captive. The young mother takes the matter into her own hands, holding the same metal pole her father used on Mack to beat him up. The revelation reaches its peak when Chloe confronts Mackenzie about the car crash. She exposed the dark secret he thought was buried.
Despite his past actions, fans are amazed at Mack’s audacity. Amid the chaos, Emmerdale star Emma Atkins adds fuel to the fire, expressing her desire for Charity Dingle’s future to be with Mackenzie Boyd. Let us see what happens next!
Emmerdale: Will Chloe Save Mack?
Earlier in Emmerdale, we saw the return of Chloe’s dad, Damon “Harry,” who assured Chloe that he would take care of everything from now on. Soon after, he kidnapped Mack and locked him up in an abandoned factory. In the Thursday episode of Emmerdale, Chloe has finally discovered her father’s evil truth. In an intense scene, Mack pleads with Damon to let him go but Damon demands that Mack need to disappear from Reuben and Chloe’s life in return. Mack declined but ended up making things tough for himself as he called Chloe a ‘psycho’ and said that he regretted being with her.
At the same, Chloe asked her father Mack’s whereabouts after receiving a voicemail from Charity Dingle. Harry calmly read a document about Mack waiving his rights to Reuben. He mentioned that Mack has two options- sign the paper or die. In the next scene of Emmerdale, Chloe confronts Mack and reveals that she is aware of him leaving her to die in the car crash. Also, she knew that he was cheating on her with Charity. She accpeted the fact she was delusional enough to think that she could still make things work.
Chloe stated, “All I wanted was to get as far away from you as possible. The scummy cheat who left me to die.” Mack urged to save his life. He said, “Chloe, you are not a killer. You’re hurt, and you’re betrayed, and that’s my fault. But you’ve got to think about Reuben.” He even tried to manipulate her by asking what is she going to tell Reuben when he was older. He pleaded, “I’m a bad man, Chloe, but I don’t deserve to die for it. Let me go because I’m not getting out of here alive unless you do.”
Fans Shocked At Mack’s Response, Emma Atkins Reveals Mack-Charity Future
Emmerdale fans are very disappointed and shocked at Mack’s response. One of the fans penned, “Wtf is Mac thinking? Harry is obviously ready to lay into him & Mac, the prat tells him that Chloe was a mistake?” Another added, “Surely Chloe won’t kill her own baby’s dad?! What would that make her if she did? Her dad is manipulating and controlling.” A third one wrote, “Chloe is bitter and messed up. She doesn’t actually know Mack wanted her to die; that isn’t why he didn’t get her out of the car, but if she leaves him to die, it will live with her for the rest of her life!”
Just a few weeks back, Mack and Charity got back together. However, things have been quite rocky for them. Amidst all the Chloe dram, the Charity Dingle actress Emma Atkins expressed that she would want her character to have a future with Mackenzie Boyd. She said, “I love working with Lawrence, and so I’m going to say together. The Emmerdale actress believes that Mack and Charity have a nice energy, and they do have a spark, and she doesn’t want it to disappear. She mentioned, “I would choose to always hang out with him.”
According to the Emmerdale actress, along with the spark, Mack and Charity have enough scope for conflict, which is very important in soap dramas. However, considering the current situation, their future does not appear promising. Nobody knows if Mack will even make it through the Christmas season alive. Well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it all turns out. Till then, stay tuned to the TV Season & Spoilers for more Emmerdale updates!
