Jonny McPherson, who portrays Liam Cavanagh in Emmerdale, shared the significance and experience of shooting emotional scenes with Dales’s character, Bob Hope. After the recent tragic car crash, Liam and Bob share the same ground. They both have lost their kids. While Bob had just seen the death of Heath, Liam had lost her daughter, Leanna, two years ago. 

In a candid conversation, Emmerdale star Jonny revealed his experience while filming the overwhelming scenes. He said, “At the time, the storylines were elsewhere, so I hadn’t worked for about three months, apart from a couple of bits and bobs. So these were the first proper scenes I’d done in a while.”

The soap star even shared about his lows. He disclosed that while he was not working, he would get thoughts of leaving acting and wanting to run a pub, be a priest, or a farmer at times. The Emmerdale actor expressed that shooting those well-written scenes with Tony and the crew was great. He expressed, “I was driving home, and I was singing in the car thinking: ‘This is fantastic, I just love it.”
