Emmerdale Star Adam Thomas’s Terrifying Holiday- Son Rushed To Hospital
Adam Thomas, who played Adam Barton in Emmerdale, shared a story from their vacation. He revealed that his 9-year-old son, Teddy, had a big accident, and they had to rush to the hospital. The star posted a photo on Instagram of Teddy smiling despite having stitches for a deep cut under his eyebrow.
He penned, “‘I didn’t think I could love this little boy anymore, but I was wrong!” The actor now sees his son differently, with newfound respect and admiration. He also labels him as a ‘brave lil old soul.’ Recounting the incident, the Emmerdale star explained that his son had a fall during their trip, causing a deep cut just below his eye.
Despite this, his son remained remarkably composed throughout the ordeal. He even constantly checks on him, his wife Caz, and their daughter Elsie, reassuring them not to worry. The soap star shared that Teddy got only a few stitches. He acknowledged that things could have been worse for many others.
However, the Emmerdale former stated, “But seeing your child have to go through that last night really was a big wake-up call for me… a new fear unlocked x.” Previously, Adam mentioned in the interview that he enjoyed working with his family every day when he returned to the Waterloo Road set.
He mentioned that their pre-existing connection made it ‘easier’ for them to portray emotionally charged scenes.
