Emmerdale Star Samantha Announces Her New Exciting Project
As Samantha Giles leaves Emmerdale, she has announced her new thrilling project. We saw the fan-favorite Bernice Blackstock gets into large debts in sister Nicola King’s name before giving her half of the B&B and leaving the Dales forever. After quitting the show, Samantha expressed her career goals as working on many projects, including theatre, TV, and books. She said, “I seek challenges and enjoy being busy; therefore, I hope the universe sends me opportunities and places to be.”
Samantha has shared that she will star in Kay Mellor’s final play, The Syndicate. The storyline revolves around five store workers who receive lottery syndicate numbers while their jobs are threatened. The Syndicate was a hit TV show about everyday people who joined lottery-winning syndicates and the drama that followed. Samantha will play the character of kind-hearted worker Debbie in the stage adaptation. She will share the stage with former Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent.
Gaynor Faye, who played Megan Macey in Emmerdale, will direct Brooke in the new play as Amy. Samantha took to Twitter (X) to express her delight. She tweeted, “I’m excited to do this next year! Buy tickets before they sell out!” The show will tour the UK in 2024, visiting Leeds, Norwich, Newcastle, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, and Birmingham. Who knows? Maybe Debbie gets twice as much love as Bernice. In the meantime, stay tuned to the TV Season & Spoilers for more Emmerdale updates!
