It has been a decade and a half since the phenomenal Ted King has walked the grounds of Port Charles on General Hospital as either of the Alcazar brothers. However, the long dry spell has done nothing to wipe him out of fans’ minds. Ted as Luis, and especially Lorenzo is still as fresh as a daisy in our minds. Ted King played the role of Luis Alcazar in 2002, and then went on to portray his brother, Lorenzo, from 2003. Unfortunately, the character was killed in 2007, and has not been seen ever since.
Currently, the General Hospital alum is portraying Jack Finnegan on CBS’s The Bold and The Beautiful. Recently, Ted appeared on a fan event for B&B. And a little birdie from the event is singing that he is in talks with GH makers. In fact, he is scheduled to have a meeting with the ABC soap’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, sometime soon. Of course, there has been no official confirmation to this, but the intel is enough to give up hope!
Ted Kind is a powerhouse performer! And his act as Lorenzo was very well received by the General Hospital fan base. Moreover, after Victor Cassadine’s passing, Port Charles has no villain. So Ted reviving the villainous Lorenzo could be golden for the soap! However, there is a little bump on the road here! Back in 2007, Lorenzo met his end at Jason’s hands. So if Lorenzo has to return, the makers will have to create a back to life story for him. However, there is one more viable option to consider!
Like we mentioned earlier. Before playing Lorenzo, Ted King played Luis on General Hospital. It was only after the latter suffered a grimm fate, that Lorenzo could rise to the horizon. In fact, more recently, we have seen actor Roger Howarth return as Austin, after his previous character, Franco died. Hence, the makers can always bring Ted King back to screen as a fresh character! Hopefully, a negative one! Ted really has a way with villains! But hey! he is a brilliant actor and we are confident he would do justice to whatever shade her portrays! What do you say? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more General Hospital updates
