General Hospital is all heated up with all the drama surrounding Victor Cassadine’s deadly pathogen plan. But amidst the fiery thrills, GH fans caught a very eye-pleasing vision in Friday’s episode (April 28, 2023). The ever-so-charming, Anthony Montgomery returned to the fold as Dr. Andre Maddox. He was seen sharing a screen with Jordan (Tanisha Harper), Anna (Finola Hughes), and Holly (Emma Samms).
Andre visited Anna at General Hospital, and the two mulled over the news of Scott leaking the pathogen intel to WSB. Anna may be watching the drama from the fences but has no intentions of staying out of it. Thus, she called in a favor with Andre to come help her. He will be helping her, alongside Holly and Jordan, with the dossier he had gained access to during the similar Cassadine threat back in the 80s. This will help Holly is making some findings about the deadly pathogen and the effects it will have.
Dr. Andre Maddox Plays An Instrumental Role In The Rescue Mission On General Hospital
Furthermore, Andre and Anna will fear that if the hostages aren’t rescued soon enough, WSB will prove to be a bigger threat than Victor on General Hospital. They deduce that the WSB will not be emotionally invested in saving the hostages. Moreover, they will think that blowing up a handful of people as collateral damage to contain a bigger threat would be justified. The spoilers tease that the findings from Andre’s dossier will help Holly make a plan to assist Team Port Charles in Greenland, and they will succeed in saving the hostages.
However, this climax will prove to be quite bittersweet on General Hospital. While the hostages will have a happy reunion with their loved one in Port Charles, Andre Maddox will leave again. Actor Anthony Montgomery revealed in a Twitter post that his stint on General Hospital is officially over. He posted a picture of himself from the studio. Stating that Dr. Maddox was sighted on General Hospital on Friday. Furthermore, he wrote that he always loves being back in Port Charles with his GH family. “Until next time!” he signed off.
