The town of Port Charles on General Hospital is engulfed in a fog of mysteries and drama at the moment. Adding another layer of intense theatrics, Liz’s estranged mother is all set to step into Port Charles. The last time we saw her, she opened the floodgates of horrifying truths about her daughter. Liz had broken into her parent’s house in California to look for clues that connected her to Finn’s dead wife, Reiko. She ended up finding much more than she initially anticipated. Carolyn told her the truth that it was Liz who pushed Reiko down the stairs. Thus, starting the Domino effect that led to Reiko’s death.
A tortured Liz then returned home to Port Charles on General Hospital. She has been trying to piece back her life ever since. However, even before she could get halfway through, Nik sucked her into his own mess of holding Esme, hostage. Liz is still trying to tackle the situation, as she cares for an amnesiac and pregnant Esme at General Hospital. The latest spoilers reveal that Liz’s mom Carolyn Webber will come to Port Charles seeking to make amends.
General Hospital: Will Liz Accept Carolyn Back In Her Life?
While Liz and her father, Jeff, were able to reach a neutral point on General Hospital, things didn’t go very well between the mother and daughter. However, that guilt is wrecking Carolyn, and she wants to make things right with her daughter. But is that even possible at this point? Liz already felt shattered at her mother’s hands when she returned home. Now, she is entangled in an extremely dark web, and she could be looking at jail time for aiding and abetting Nik. Liz may not have the mental capacity to deal with her mother at this point in her life.
However, on the flip side, Liz has always yearned for her parents’ affection on General Hospital. Maybe Carolyn, now reaching out to her, could heal wounds. Moreover, if Nik escapes town, Liz will be left behind alone to clean up the Esme mess, her mother’s support could come in handy! That being said, there isn’t any official news as to how the story between Liz and Carolyn will progress.
