The latest General Hospital comings and goings news suggest that a known/unknown face is all set to pop up on the soap opera. Our favorite Maurice Benard just revealed that his son, Joshua Benard is all set to make an appearance on the soap opera.
Back in January, the actor took onto his Instagram and posted a story. He put up a picture of his son Joshua with the text- “Is someone coming to General Hospital?” While that made all the fans really excited, the news died there. We did not get any confirmation or further details about it. However, things have now changed.
Taking on to his Twitter, a very proud Maurice Benard announced that his son would make an appearance at General Hospital. He shared a video of Joshua Benard as he played guitar. The little boy is singing the Elvis Presley classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Captioning the video, the actor says that someone close to him told him that Joshua Benard is coming to General Hospital this March 16, 2022.
This news has left all the fans ecstatic. We would also remind the fans this isn’t the first time that Joshua is making an appearance on the soap opera. Back in 2018, he played younger Sonny. Sonny dreamt of how his life would have been if he had made different choices and Joshua made an appearance as young Sonny there.
So, it will be fun to see what Joshua comes in for this time around. Would he again play young Sonny’s role, or will he become a part of the teen scene in General Hospital? That surely is heating up. So, if he gets there, it would be fun to watch. Then, it is also possible that Joshua might share the screen with his father and come in for an entirely different storyline.
