General Hospital fans, your wait is finally. It looks like GH writers have finally heard all the pleas. The latest spoilers suggest that Peter is dead. Long-time viewers know that there isn’t any bad deed that Peter was not a part of in General Hospital. Not only the viewers but all the residents of Port Charles wanted him dead for so long. All the prayers have been answered, and now he has met his grim fate.
We have been speculating how the supervillain will die for the longest time. As we know, many residents of Port Charles were after him. We know that Maxie was with him, and then Felicia joined her. Then, Anna Devane, Dante, and Drew also teamed up to take down Peter after all he had done. And General Hospital spoilers for February 23, 2022, confirmed that Anna Devane will be the one letting Peter die.
After Maxie took the gun, she gave it to Felicia before Drew and Anna showed up. Then, Drew checked and told everyone that Peter is alive, but he is having issues breathing. Anna claimed that she would call an ambulance and stepped away until Peter woke up again. After that, Peter called Maxie for help, but she didn’t shred even a pinch of sympathy also. Then, Anna sent everyone away and waited for an ambulance.
After a while, Peter realized there was no ambulance coming after all. Anna then told the WSB that Peter was dead and added that the area wasn’t safe, and threatened not to come there. In addition, Anna took Peter’s hand and gently shushed him until he died in front of her. Anna felt devastated as she closed Peter’s eyes with her hand and said goodbye to her son.
It seems like Peter is dead now. TV Season & Spoilers also previously reported that Wes Ramsey is now off the contract, and he is out of the soap opera now. The insiders confirm that this is Peter’s final exit on the ABC show. GH viewers know that they keep bringing Peter back to life every time we think he is dying, but this will not happen as Ramsey’s contract with the soap opera is officially over.
The actor took to his Instagram where he was wearing a tracksuit with General Hospital’s print on the back, and he was walking out of the Tv show. Ramsey wrote an emotional caption expressing how grateful and thankful he is to the show and his fans.
There were a lot of fan reactions to his exit and his Instagram post. A lot of users were sad to see Wes go but not Peter. One user wrote, “Hate to see you go!! Great job; no one could have played the role better!” Another fan wrote, “We are definitely going to miss you Wes. Thank you for bringing Peter August to life. I applaud you for everything that you have done.” It seems like fans are going to miss the supervillain on the show. He had a long run, and we wish him all the best for his future endeavors.
