Dex is a man on a mission on General Hospital. The former soldier is working undercover for Michael Corinthos. He has been assigned with the job of collecting evidence against Sonny, that Michael can use to take Sonny down in his revenge plot. Recently, Dex became a little nervous when Sonny did not include him in an important meeting. He feared that his cover could get blown, however, his fears will soon be relieved when Sonny asks Dex to join him in a security check. Moreover, Dex will even get an opportunity to win some brownie points with the mob boss when a dangerous situation engulfs them!
Sonny And Dex’s Dance With Danger
Working under cover comes with a lot of danger, especially when it’s with Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital. Dex usually makes his moves carefully, but he recently feared getting exposed when Sonny cut him out of a meeting. However, it seems his cover is safe as of now. In the coming episode Sonny will ask him to tag along for a warehouse security check for the Pikeman shipment. Sonny would go in thinking of it as a routine procedure, without suspecting any danger.
However, little does Sonny know that a hitman awaits him inside the warehouse on General Hospital. Dex’s military training makes him adept at reading danger, and will instantly notice the sniper. The sniper will open fire at Sonny and Dex, but Dex will manage to push Sonny out of harm’s way. Thus, saving his life and also winning his trust and favor. The ordeal would not end here, and the firing would continue, giving Sonny a chance to save Dex too. By the end of it, both men will be quite shaken by the incident, and will have a lot to think over.
Dex Reconsiders His Take Down Mission On General Hospital
Up until now, Dex has looked at Sonny in a very bad light on General Hospital. He thought of Sonny as a criminal who needed to be brought down. Hence, he had no qualms in supporting Michael in the takedown mission. However, after the shooting incident at the warehouse, Dex will realize that there is another side to Sonny. Not only will Dex feel grateful for Sonny saving his life, but he will also see that Sonny can be compassionate and upstanding when the need arises.
He will wonder if Sonny really is as bad as Michael makes him to be on General Hospital. Moreover, he will feel at a crossroad where he has to decide whether or not he wants to help Michael destroy the man who saved his life. What do you think Dex will do now?
