General Hospital: Heather Webber Is NOT THE HOOK KILLER, Copying the Killer

Recently viewers of General Hospital were left shaken when the injured Hook Killer took off the mask and revealed her face as Heather Webber. While some netizens lauded the twist that they never saw coming, others were baffled. It is totally plausible that deranged Heather would turn out to be a psycho serial killer. However, the string of victims she has left behind makes no sense. Adding to the suspense of whether or not Heather is the Hook Killer, the latest GH spoilers suggest not! Let’s weigh both possibilities and see what makes more sense!

Heather Webber’s Reveal As Hook Killer A Red Herring?

The Hook Killer’s rampage in Port Charles started way before Heather resurfaced on General Hospital. While that may not be direct clean chit for her, it still does sort of make her hand in it questionable. The string of victims that the Hook Killer left in her wake have no direct link to Heather. The theory of all the victims being connected to Trina still holds ground. And Heather certainly has no connection to Trina. Unless General Hospital comes up with this whole new track to create a backstory that links Heather to them, the dots don’t connect.

The only two victims who can qualify as Heather’s targets on General Hospital are Ava Jerome and Rory Cabrera. Heather is a raging psychopath who still seems obsessed with Ryan, so trying to kill a woman Ryan may have or had an interest in makes sense. As for Rory, the young lad just made the bad decision of landing at the apartment to intercept the killer. Sadly, he fell victim to his own plan and died at the Hook Killer’s hands. Now, the secondary connection that Heather does share with the victims is Esme Price. So, if Heather really is the killer, has she done it for Esme?

Heather Webber, The CopyCat Killer On General Hospital

As we mentioned above, Heather’s only link to the murders on General Hospital, is her daughter Esme. However, the murders started long before Ryan told Heather about Esme being their daughter. So it makes no sense that she would go after the enemies of a daughter she didn’t even know she had! That’s a bit illogical, even for a loony like Heather. That being said, we cannot deny the fact that Heather is responsible for at least the attack on Joss and the unintentional death of Dr. Britt. So why did she go after Joss? We may have one explanation for that!

GH/ Hook Killer attacks Dr. Britt

Heather now knows for sure that Esme is her daughter at General Hospital. The psycho mom has already lost one child before and probably doesn’t want to lose another. Perhaps, Heather is in the light of the murmurs about Esme being suspected of the Hook Killings. Maybe, this attack on Joss is Heather’s own twisted attempt at deflecting the blame from Esme? That seems like the only reasonable explanation as of now! Unless, of course, the makers decide that Heather ALWAYS knew Esme was her daughter and was avenging her from the beginning. Either way, we are up for some really bizarre revelations ahead! So stay tuned to ABC over weekdays to find out what’s the real story!
