General Hospital viewers were in for a shock when Brando Corbin died in the recent episode. Brando was the latest victim of the vicious killer Hook, who is unleashing terror in Port Charles these days. His death came as such a shock because he was initially shown to have become stable post-surgery. Moreover, he even shared a sweet moment with his wife, Sasha. The two spoke about what their future would be like in the years to come. However, shortly his health took a turn for the worse, and he experienced a seizure after coughing up blood.
Sasha on General Hospital was left devastated when Portia informed her that Brando had passed away. Interestingly, Portia later confided in Finn that Brando’s death was triggered by something more than just the stabbing. This leads us to believe that there is something much bigger and more potent brewing! And Brando’s death is not a small bump. Chances are, we are about to witness something much more sinister in the Hook story than we were anticipating earlier.
General Hospital: Johnny Wactor Forced Out!
However, Johnny Wactor has stated that his exit from General Hospital as Brando was not his choice. He entered the show in 2020 and had quickly won a lot of fanfare. So while his exit may have left a lot of fans sad, it seems like Brando dying was essential for the plot.
“I’ve got no bad blood and I wish everyone at GH the best.” The actor said to Soap Opera Digest, addressing his dismissal from General Hospital. He also confessed that he is now beginning to feel “a little emotional” as it has finally sunk that his days at GH are behind him.
While Brando has met his end in General Hospital, there still is the matter of Sasha. The young widow is shattered by her husband’s passing. Understandably, she will need a lot of support from her fellow Port Charles citizens. This also brings to mind her past relationship with Michael. We know Willow is hiding a life-threatening disease from him. Do you think there is a possibility of these two storylines intersecting in the future?
