Carly has been away from the main town of Port Charles for an extended period of time on General Hospital. Viewers saw her stuck in Jacksonville, Florida. There, she battled her old foe, Peyton, to save the cemetery housing her mother’s grave. However, fans are now rejoicing as Carly has finally returned home. And she hasn’t returned home alone! Along with her is handsome Drew! The two have decided to give love a chance!

Upon return to Port Charles in General Hospital, Carly landed right in the middle of an extremely major storyline. Apart from her romance with Drew, of course. Willow needs a bone marrow transplant to survive and needs a family member to have a perfect match. And, who is in the know of one such family member? Carly! Carly knows Nina Reeves is Willow’s birth mother. Even though Willow and Nina themselves are unaware of it. So, one would certainly be taken off guard that Laura Wright would leave in the middle of it all.
Laura Wring Announces Her Future On General Hospital
The General Hospital star recently posted a clip on her Twitter account featuring Esme being found out. She captioned the post, “Oh yeah. Carly’s back.” However, fans soon started wondering how long would Carly’s return last on the popular ABC soap. It’s only a matter of time before Carly finds her way into the whole Esme drama too. And, when the murderous teen is in question, characters dying as collateral damage is certainly on the cards.
Worried by these possibilities, a General Hospital fan, Rhonda Morris, replied to Laura’s post in hopes of getting the information right out of the horse’s mouth. She asked if the rumor going around of Laura leaving General Hospital was true or not. The talented actress then quashed all the fire by responding that she is not leaving and she doesn’t know why people keep spreading such rumors. This update coming straight from Laura spread a wave of relief amongst her fans.
