In a recent chat with General Hospital co-star Maurice Benard on his Youtube Show, State Of Mind, Marcus opened up. Although, several years on, Marcus has settled in as Nikolas, yet the General Hospital star constantly battles anxiety over his fear of getting killed and written off from the soap. Marcus Coloma Finally Finds Peace On General Hospital

However, the General Hospital star says he has finally come to peace with it as this is how soap operas work in general. “As silly as it is or social media has helped a lot with it because it wasn’t just General Hospital, it’s this industry in general.” Marcus admitted to Maurice. He felt like the makers were trying to kill him on the soap. “A storyline where you’re going to stab your son and you think, the producers, they obviously want my character to die.” Marcus explained.

Marcus and Maurice are not just co-stars on General Hospital. They are also great friends. It gets really stressful on the sets sometimes. Especially when there are dark storylines going on. “You know audiences are going to hate you when you sleep with your son’s girlfriend.” Marcus pointed out. It helps a great deal to keep the atmosphere light on the sets, and there is great comedy going on. Marcus shared as he pointed that Maurice always has his back while working.

It was a great show to watch, we highly recommend that you give it a view. It’s always so intriguing to watch our favorite stars get real about themselves. It sort of humanizes them just as much as us. Marcus seems like a great guy! and we are happy he has found a friend in Maurice. We are totally looking forward to them sharing the screen on General Hospital again soon! So stay tuned to ABC over weekdays!
