General Hospital recap for Friday, July 22, 2022, revealed the aftermath of Cody and Britt’s disastrous date. The two of them got into a fight, and later, Cody decided to apologize to Britt over voicemail. Meanwhile, Linc convinces Chase to try a 30-day trial with him as the manager, just as Brook had planned.
In another part of town, Maxie asks Damian why he is behaving so suspiciously. Damian confessed that his algorithm didn’t see a future for Maxie and Austin. Cody Apologizes To Britt
In this episode of General Hospital, we saw Britt Westbourne at the stables, her date with Cody did not go as planned. During the date, Britt called it the “time of death,” whereas Cody called her a nag. It all ended with Britt pouring a drink over his head in anger.
Later, Cody cooled down after having a chat with Comet the horse. He left an apologetic voicemail for Cody and wished her to give him another chance. Cody felt the need to make up for his bad behavior in the past. We had seen the two of them in the previous episode on a very uncomfortable date.
General Hospital Recap: Brook’s Mission Is Successful
Meanwhile, at The Haunted Star, Linc Brown was impressed with Harrison Chase’s singing. As per Brook’s plan, he offered to become Chase’s manager. However, Brook intervened immediately and told him that she had already made a verbal agreement with Chase.
Furthermore, Chase took the cue and began humiliating Linc Brown. He said he could never sign a manager like Linc and went on to call him a parasite as well. Linc emphasized that he has the ability to make Chase a star and wanted to make a joint agreement along with Brook. Eventually, all three of them agreed to give each other a 30-day trial in order to prove themselves. Brook was thrilled to see that her plan had worked.
Austin Receives A Threat From The Past
In another part of General Hospital, Maxie was struggling to understand why Damian Spinelli would not stop intervening in her love life. Damian is adamant that Austin was not a good match for her. Maxie is bothered by Damian’s shady behavior and tries to coerce him to come clean with his secrets.
Spinelli finally confessed the reasons behind his doubts. He revealed that he was behind Society Setups, and his algorithm had predicted that it would not go down well for Maxie and Austin. Maxie didn’t buy his words entirely and told him she still had faith in her relationship. Furthermore, she reassured Spinelli after he shared his vulnerable secrets with her.
Damian was worried because he felt people would not use Society Setups if they knew the truth about it. Meanwhile, true to Damian’s suspicions, Austin was seen arguing with a stranger. The stranger was hell-bent on getting Austin to return to Pautuck. He fought back and said he wouldn’t do anything for him.
