General Hospital recap for July 27, 2022, relays the story of Esme’s missing mother. Tired of Spencer’s tricks, she reached out to Ryan, asking about her mother’s identity. Ryan told her that he loved her but never knew her real name. Disappointed, Esme decides that the best thing for her is to leave town.
Meanwhile, Spencer took the stand to deliver his testimony. Trina asked him about it, and he informed her that the only reason he was there was because he was subpoenaed. In another part of town, Cody confessed to Maxie that he wanted to be with Britt. Speaking of Britt, she found something shocking too. What was that?
Esme Wants Answers
In this episode of General Hospital, Esme arrived at Spring Ridge as fast as possible. Ryan was happy to hear that she had managed to get her internship back. However, he was not happy to know that Esme had manipulated Nikolas into making this happen. Esme did not react to his judgment and informed him about Spencer’s new trick.
She told Ryan that Spencer had offered her a deal related to her mother’s identity in exchange for a full-blown confession that would help free Trina Robinson. Esme wanted to know if the information Spencer had about her mother was true or not. To this, Ryan informed her that he shared a loving and understanding relationship with Esme’s mom but never knew her real name.
Esme was dismayed after hearing his response; she decided it would be best to leave town. Of course, Esme would not leave town without delivering little threat to Ryan. This prompted him to be nice to her.
General Hospital Recap Today: Spencer Takes The Stand
Meanwhile, the second day of Trina’s trial has begun and new shocking twists are playing out. In this episode, Spencer took the stand and did not clarify if he knew Esme’s whereabouts during their time at the cabin at night. Diane Miller found an opening to cross-examine him.
The court adjourned for a break, and Trina told Spencer how she felt about him taking the stand. He insisted that he was only doing it because he was subpoenaed. Rory saw the two of them in conversation and told Josslyn that he thought Trina still liked Spencer.
Cody Wants Another Chance With Britt
Rounding off, Britt spent some time with Maxie Jones at the Metro Court Pool. She shared details of her bad date with Cody Bell. Right then, Cody arrived and tried to have a polite conversation with the ladies. When alone, Cody told Maxie how much he liked Britt and wanted another chance. Maxie approved of his confidence and tried to help him with Britt.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Britt recalled a conversation she had with Spencer once. Their conversation was about Esme’s pills that he had brought to get checked. GH viewers would recall, back in time, Britt had turned Spencer down, and that had caused some rift between them. But now that Jordan is asking Britt to check the same pills, she will be able to connect the dots.
General Hospital spoilers say that these are the same pills that were used to drug Oz. So, Britt will suddenly become an active member in this investigation.
