According to General Hospital teasers, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) believed investing millions of dollars in Aurora stock was a clever business move. However, due to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) decision to kill the merger, Carly has lost a lot of money. But, given that she engaged in unlawful insider trading, her problems could worsen. What would happen there?
Carly And Drew’s Relationship In Danger?
According to General Hospital spoilers, Drew is worried about Carly losing so much money. But how much money did Carly invest in Aurora stock? Did she spend every dime? Many overconfident people make this error, and Carly’s attitude will probably cause her financial ruin. The situation is about to worsen, though. Drew turns to Nina Reeves and makes a business offer. Carly will see Drew’s actions as a betrayal, but they are likely a means of saving her. Drew won’t want the failed merger to cause Carly to lose all of her money.
Therefore, Carly might have little choice but to consent to Drew’s deal-making with Nina. But this can also point to a roadblock in their relationship. Looks like Carly is in bad shape after all.
General Hospital: Carly Is Broke After The Merger
According to more General Hospital spoilers, ELQ and Aurora were going to be merged by Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Carly was aware of this and pleaded with Drew to allow her to invest. Drew didn’t want Carly to take such a big financial risk, but she persisted.
So, when Carly lavished loads of cash—possibly millions of dollars—into Aurora, the stock shot through the roof. Carly believed she was choosing wisely for her business. On the day of the ELQ shareholder meeting, Carly couldn’t help but boast about how happy she was with herself.
However, Carly’s business decision was based on knowledge unavailable to the general public, known as insider trading. So, the recent events have landed her in a terrible financial and legal position.
Will Carly Get Arrested?
There’s yet another bombshell about to go off on General Hospital. It looks like there’s another turn that no one in Port Charles could have predicted. Could Carly be detained and accused of insider trading, given that her acts were unlawful? Will Sonny Corinthos
(Maurice Benard) be required to intervene and save Carly?
He will no longer permit Carly to go bankrupt or forfeit her freedom. It would be intriguing to see how Sonny helps Carly through his friendship with Nina. Keep watching General Hospital find out!
