So, it seems like they are actually there for each other in difficult times and trust each other with a lot of things.

Long-time viewers know that the supervillain of General Hospital, Ceasar Faison, came up with a technology that could program humans to act on his commands. Then, the same human will do whatever he is asked to do if they are activated.
Drew has that programming in him, and Victor is trying to use him to his advantage. While Drew has fooled Victor, for now, it doesn’t mean that the danger is over.
