General Hospital: Maxie Is Getting Tempted
General Hospital viewers would recall that Maxie and Brook came up with a plan a few months ago. Back then, Peter was still a problem. So, Maxie joined hands with Brook Lynn and gave her baby Louise. Brook was faking her pregnancy to gain ELQ shares. So, this deal was a win-win for both of them. Ever since then, Brook has been taking care of the child and calling her Bailey. While Maxie thought that she might be able to stay away from the baby, it is becoming difficult for her to do that.
No matter how much Maxie tries, she is having a hard time staying away from her infant. Brook has warned her a number of times, but Maxie keeps showing up at the Quartermaine mansion. Maxie is finding it very hard to resist meeting her daughter. And all of this is raising suspicion. Recently, Monica Quartermaine noticed the attachment that Maxie has to the baby. She spoke about this to Brook Lynn.
Then, Monica even tried to talk to Maxie and take the baby away from her. When Maxie refused to give her, that made Monica really suspicious. When Brook came back, Monica made sure she tells her that Maxie’s behavior was unhealthy. Keeping in mind all of this, Brook is really worried. She is afraid that the truth might come out and they will be in huge trouble.
Maxie Has A Solution
As Maxie visiting Bailey repeatedly is raising suspicions, it looks like she will come up with a solution. Her solution will be to leave the town and hope that it will help her. Recently, actress Cynthia Watros who plays Nina on the soap opera, spoke to Soap Opera Digest. The actress talked about the Maxie storyline and revealed that Maxie is considering leaving the town.
She also said that when Maxie tells Nina this, she has a hard time understanding it. Because, why would Maxie want to leave her support system? Nina does not know the truth. If she did, she would have understood how being close to the baby is being a temptation to Maxie. So, when Maxie leaves the town, the temptation will be gone, and Lou will be protected. But, without any context, Nina finds it hard to understand.
However, later on, as Maxie and Nina speak, the truth will start slipping out, and Maxie will tell Nina the whole truth. She will also understand why Maxie did what she did. Nina will also see how attached Valentin Cassadine is feeling to Bailey. So, will Nina choose to pop Valentin’s bubble and tell everyone this truth? It doesn’t look like so.
Nevertheless, once Nina comes to know all about it, she might be supportive of Maxie and even help her leave. We will have to wait to see how all of General Hospital builds up to this exit.
