But even off the screen, it seems that the stars of this ABC legacy soap are embroiled neck-deep in legal messes. Ingo Rademacher Loses COVID Lawsuit Against General Hospital
The very handsome Ingo Rademacher portrayed the character of Jasper Jack “Jax” on General Hospital. He was quite popular and well-received by GH fans. However, if you have recently started binging on this legendary daily soap, he happens to be Joss’ dad! Despite his popularity, Ingo was axed during the COVID mayhem, and his character was written off from the show. This casting shakeup was a result of a vaccine mandate that Disney had put in. It required the entire cast and crew of all their productions to be vaccinated. Furthermore, it stated that non-compliance would result in getting the boot from the project.
However, the mandate did make exceptions for religious and other health issues exemptions. In December 2021, General Hospital’s ex-Jax filed a lawsuit against ABC, claiming that his request for exemption was not granted and he was dismissed unfairly. Both parties put forth their side of the story, and now, after almost a year and a half, the case has reached a conclusion. Unfortunately for Ingo, the court has ruled in ABC’s favor, and his lawsuit has been tossed.
Ever since the matter came to light, fans have been wondering if they will ever get to see Ingo as Jax again on General Hospital. While it is never a tough task to bring back characters, we are not sure if this one is coming back. Although there is enough scope for Jax to return, given Joss’ current dangerous storyline. But going by all the bad blood, Ingo’s return seems rather unlikely at this point. So fans better not be holding their breaths on this one!
Haley Pullos Faces Lawsuit Post DUI Debacle
Recently, TV Season & Spoilers reported Hayley Pullos’ unfortunate accident and arrest thereafter. The General Hospital star’s arrest was allegedly due to driving under the influence of alcohol. It was later reported that Haley checked herself into a rehab facility to recover from the incident. Now, TMZ reports that the driver, Courtney Wilder, whom she allegedly smashed into, has filed a lawsuit against her. Wilder claims that the accident has caused him and his vehicle severe damage.
He stated that he was admitted to a hospital in critical condition. Wilder added that he had suffered injuries that would have a lasting impact on him. Furthermore, he claimed that his car was completely damaged due to the collision with the General Hospital star. Unfortunately, it seems like Haley’s troubles are far from over. Currently, GH has recast her role of Molly with actress Holiday Mia Kregiel. We sincerely hope that Haley recovers soon and manages to tackle her issues efficiently.
