General Hospital fans would know that after two years of hiatus, General Hospital recently hosted a fan event. This event took place in California, and there were several Q&A panels at the event. One of these events welcomed Wes Ramsey, who played the character of Peter up until he wrapped up his stint.
While everyone hated Peter, Wes Ramsey is loved widely. So, many GH fans jumped on this opportunity to ask Ramsey if he would come back. Wes Ramsey’s answer was nothing less than explosive, we would say.
This panel we are talking about featured Wes, Bradford Anderson, and Cameron Matthison, who were asked a number of questions. One of the fans asked Peter, the portrayer, about the list of the crimes he had committed. To this, he says that he thinks it’s exciting. He added that if there was no reaction and everyone was bored, then he might not be doing his job right.
A fan also asked him what Peter’s most heinous crime as per him was. To this, Ramsey says that there were many. He revealed that he was conflicted with Peter for almost four years while he was in Port Charles. Then, he says that in Peter’s mind, he was perhaps not doing something very bad. He says that Peter’s moral code wasn’t a normal code. Then he talked about how Peter’s childhood had affected a lot of his adulthood.
After a lot of discussion on why Peter did what he did, one fan asked Wes if he would ever return to Port Charles? Speaking about this, Ramsey says that it is a very good question. He appreciates all the support fans have given him over the past few years. He then says that General Hospital was one of his favorite journeys, and he will keep his fans updated on whatever happens next.
Another fan took the liberty to point out that Wes could very easily come back as a twin. After all, Twins aren’t uncommon on soap, and Peter has that gene in his family. After all, Alex has a twin, Anna. So, weighing on this, Ramsey says that this is the beauty of daytimes. You never really know what is happening or what will happen. Given how the actor is talking about it, it is likely that Ramsey might return to General Hospital sometime down the line. While we are not saying that he would make an appearance just yet, he might return sometime down the line indeed. Would you like to see him coming back? Tell us in the comments.
