General Hospital viewers know that it has been some time since Austin came to Port Charles. Ever since he arrived here, he has been busy with all sorts of storylines. However, what GH hasn’t paid a lot of attention to is Austin’s love angle. While the soap opera has been bringing Austin closer to Britt and Maxie, it has been on the back burner for some time now.
With that said, it looks like things are about to change. With Austin consciously getting involved with Maxie and Britt, it looks like it’s the time when we will see a romance there. But, with two women on the canvas, who would Austin choose? Here is everything about it.
General Hospital Pairing Austin Up With Britt & Maxie
For starters, Britt and Austin work together at the hospital, so they have similar topics to discuss upon. They also seem to be coming closer and becoming friends. Not only that, Austin and Britt recently went out. So, would romance brew there? Austin is single and can use a love interest. And as for Britt, GH viewers know that Britt’s love interest, Jason, is now dead. So, Britt also needs a love interest, and pairing her up with Austin seems like a good choice.
The next probable pairing of Austin can be with Maxie. Viewers have been watching Maxie and Austin becoming friends. Austin has helped Maxie in more than one way. In fact, he is still helping Maxie look for her daughter in Pautauk. The two of them have kissed and in the upcoming days, they will think about what it means for them. Not only that, but General Hospital spoilers also suggest that Maxie will most probably tell Austin the truth about Louise being “Bailey”. So, when that happens, it will bring them closer.

First off, viewers seem divided on who Austin should be paired with. In a recent poll conducted by Tv seasons & Spoilers, 80% of fans wished Maxie and Austin should be the next thing. One of the fans wrote, “Maxie. He grounds her. Britt needs edgy. Like Jason. Another fan wrote, “Maxie, I want Jason to come back to Britt,” and many other comments supported Maxie and Austin being paired up.
However, there were a few fans that hoped for Britt and Austin to get together, too. One of the fans wrote, “Britt. Maxie has too many problems.” While some did point out the chemistry of Britt and Austin, they also predicted that Jason would come back and be with Britt. A third new interesting possibility was Liz. Some fans thought that it would be interesting if Austin and Liz could become a thing.
But talking about the possibilities, General Hospital might be planning to bring Austin and Maxie together. It seems like Austin will come on board with Maxie when she tells him the truth.
